Josh is set to perform at “A Celebration of Paul Newman’s Dream” event to benefit Paul Newman’s Association of Hole in the Wall Camps. The star-studded event takes place on April 2, 2012, at New York’s Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center. The show will feature performances by world-renowned performing artists, the campers themselves and a very special announcement about the Association’s global network of camps. Josh will be performing as well as other GRAMMY-winning and GRAMMY-nominated musicians: Paul Simon, Trisha Yearwood, as well as additional surprise musical performances throughout the evening and appearances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Jimmy Fallon, with more to be announced.

Ticket sales from the evening will benefit Paul Newman’s family of camps and programs supporting children facing serious illnesses from around the world. Show-only tickets begin at $35 and are on sale through the Lincoln Center Box Office. Benefit tickets including a post-performance supper begin at $1,500 and are on sale through the benefit office at 212-245-6570.

The major supporter of the event, Newman’s Own Foundation, carries on Paul Newman’s philanthropic legacy and commitment to helping make the world a better place by turning all net royalties and profits from the sale of Newman’s Own products into charitable donations. There’s something magical that happens when legendary crooner Tony Bennett gets in front of the camera. The passion and joy he brings to the song seems to flow forth, creating a sort of aura around him. Watching Bennett sing is a treat enough, but when the icon is joined by another artist, well … that’s next level awesome.

Take Bennett’s latest video with new school icon Josh Groban. Filmed for the series ‘Great Performances,’ the duo join voices to perform their recent duet, ‘This Is All I Ask,’ off Bennett’s ‘Duets II’ album. The stripped down set and unedited vocals epitomizes Bennett’s recent series of artist collaborations with the likes of Lady Gaga, Michael Bublé and Carrie Underwood … just to name a few.

“Josh Groban is a very smart and and extremely nice person,” Tony Bennett tells AOL Music. “He was very comfortable recording live in the studio, which is how I work, but he told me he normally has a big orchestra involved so it was a new experience for him to work with a jazz quartet for our duet of ‘This Is All I Ask.’ I think he did a beautiful job finding the right balance working with a quartet. It’s a song that I introduced in 1963 and I thoroughly enjoyed recording it again with Josh Groban almost 50 years later.”
